Rolls-Royce Shines Bright with Diamonds

What could possibly be better than one of the most luxurious names in the car industry, with one of the models starting at $300,000? Well, when it comes to a Rolls-Royce, it’s a car that shines bright with diamonds. A unique paint that has been blended with diamonds has been applied to a Rolls-Royce vehicle making it even more valuable and simply one of a kind.



The Car


'Elegance' was the name of this remarkable car which was shown off at the Geneva Motor Show. It was done with one of the models from their 'Ghost' collection, one of a typical luxury car enthusiast’s favorite cars. Starting at $300,000 this lavish car was chosen by the British automaker to be the lucky vehicle to receive an extravagant coat of diamond paint making it even more glamorous than it already was.

The Paint


An extremely unique type of paint has been developed by automakers Rolls Royce that incorporates over 1,000 crushed diamonds. The paint was used as the exterior finish for a custom Rolls-Royce Ghost and has been named Diamond Stardust. It is the first time this paint has been used on a car, and it demands more attention than usual. This is because the paint requires an extra layer of clear enamel as a finish and takes three days to apply and dry. The paint itself took two months to develop in order to ensure that the final product would be smooth and not rough like sandpaper.


The Value


This unique car was commissioned by a collector and has therefore yet to be valued. It has, however, been displayed at the Geneva International Motor Show in order to demonstrate the customization options that Rolls-Royce offers. This creation also includes additional customized details such as the black leather interior, Tudor Oak veneers, and Mugello Red stitching.


True luxury knows no bounds and Rolls-Royce full understand this, which is why they offer their customers anything they dream of. Diamonds and Rolls-Royce cars are some of the most luxurious items on this planet; it’s kind of strange that a girl’s best friend and a guy’s best friend haven’t been paired together in such a way before. This is truly what you call a match made in heaven.
