Luxe Jewels for the Win!
By Leibish Polnauer & Diana Jarrett
The famed Golden Globes ceremony just kicked off Hollywood’s annual awards season. The venerable institution founded in 1944 is considered to be a forerunner of upcoming winners at the Oscars in March.
All in all, the Golden Globes delivered glamour with all the stops pulled out this year.

They Tune in for Luxe
Viewers were as eager to catch the designer gowns and jewelry worn by celebrities as they were at discovering the winners.
In that regard, this year’s Golden Globes did not disappoint. While the nominees were radiant, their jewels spoke volumes about this season’s choice of accessories.

Tiffany proves Timeless
Golden Globes winner Teyana Taylor shimmered in Tiffany & Co. archival ear pendants
circa 1940s. They looked as modern as 2026. The chic earrings created in palladium featured white and colored diamonds.
The choice of palladium metal was a nod to its era of manufacture in World War II, when platinum was banned for all non-essential use.

Gents know how to bling
Not to be outdone, Dwayne Johnson, starring in The Smashing Machine, displayed a head turning confident vibe. Johnson’s refined elegance was intentional with his head-to-toe Chopard. The 18k white gold diamond brooch was a particular stunner.
Inspired Imagination
When it comes to complex sophistication, our winner is the Bloem Collier by Margot
McKinney, lauded for its uniqueness.
Tourmalines, including a massive 65.78 central tourmaline, Australian South Sea baroque pearls, white and brown diamonds plus cascading pink tourmalines, amethysts, rubellites, and colored sapphires set in 18K yellow gold formed the unforgettable neckpiece.
Dame Helen Mirren pulled it off effortlessly—the lavish statement piece complemented her without upstaging the star.

Meanwhile elsewhere in the world of color
The 2026 spectacle launched a new year with a powerful display of important colored stone jewelry. And it’s been a energetic force gaining momentum ever since.
One of the most unique designers of color gemstones is Jacob Arabo popularly known as Jacob the Jeweler, and founder of Jacob & Co. Some say he never rests.
Timepiece connoisseurs will recall how his brand soared some 5 years ago when we polished 400 Intense Yellow diamonds for his Billionaire Timeless Treasure watch.
It debuted at $20-million dollars and was marketed as “when price is not a problem.”

What’s Next?
This year Jacob created a masterpiece necklace boasting 209.71 cts of gemstones set in 18K yellow gold that he christened the Bandana Royale. It’s fitting that we were entrusted with polishing the extraordinary yellow diamonds for Jacob’s Billionaire Timeless Treasure watch.
